About
James is a lawyer admitted to practice in Maine, Mass, N.Y., and Florida. He and his wife of 34 years, Gretchen, have six children and live in Arundel Maine in the summer and Amelia Island and Tallahassee Florida in the winter. James followed his mom and dad to Maine where his father served a summer rector of numerous Episcopal churches. James has been summer folk since 1957 in the following spots: Biddeford Pool, Castine, Winter Harbor, Kennebunkport, and now Arundel. His inspiration comes from his legal experiences and love for the Maine coast. His works are endorsed by New York Times bestselling authors Dorothy Walker Bush Koch, Lee Woodruff, and Peter Schweizer. He has rave reviews from Clarion, Kirkus, and Blue Ink. The author has intentionally insured that his books are suitable for high school age and up. His latest motto is: “Books…the original handheld.”
